Terms of service

Last updated: 25 June 2026

These terms govern your use of Loreteller. By connecting or using Loreteller, you agree to them. If you are using Loreteller on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these terms for that organization. In these terms, "Loreteller", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the service and the people who operate it.

The service

Loreteller is a connector that helps you keep a living record of your software projects in your own Notion workspace. It captures decisions, changes, context, and related details when you ask it to. Loreteller is in early access, which means features may change, and parts of the service may be added, adjusted, or removed as it develops.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Loreteller. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Your account and connections

You sign in to Loreteller through our authentication provider, and you connect your own Notion workspace. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for the access you grant. You decide which Notion pages and databases Loreteller can reach, and you can change or revoke that access at any time inside Notion.

Your content

You own the content you create through Loreteller. You grant us a limited license to access, process, store, and transmit that content only as needed to provide the service to you. You are responsible for having the right to use the content you put into Loreteller, and you agree not to use Loreteller to store or process anything unlawful or that infringes the rights of others.

Acceptable use

When using Loreteller, you agree not to:

Third-party services

Loreteller works alongside Notion, the AI assistant platform you use such as Claude or ChatGPT, and cloud infrastructure providers. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them or for any changes they make. If one of those services changes or becomes unavailable, parts of Loreteller may be affected.

Availability

We work to keep Loreteller running well, but because it is in early access we do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

Disclaimers

Loreteller is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of anything important. Loreteller is a tool to help you record information, and you remain responsible for reviewing what it writes.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of Loreteller. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims and costs arising out of your misuse of Loreteller, your content, or your violation of these terms or of any law or third-party right.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access to Loreteller if you violate these terms or if needed to protect the service or other users. You can stop using Loreteller at any time by disconnecting it from Notion and removing the connector.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and continuing to use Loreteller after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled in the courts located in Washington, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
